Carpathian Foundation
Cross-border regional foundation that provides grants and technical assistance to NGOs and local governments, focusing primarily on inter-regional, economic development and transfrontier activities. Encourages the development of public/private/NGO partnerships, including cross-border and inter-ethnic approaches to promote regional and community development and to help prevent conflicts.
Fondation Marcel Hicter
Organisation that promotes cultural democracy in Europe and at international level and supports the development of cultural cooperation. Its programmes are adapted to cultural, political and economic realities of the area.
Fondazione Mediterraneo
The foundationís objective is to promote European-Mediterranean partnerships through the development of dialogue between cultures and societies, with special focus on Eastern Europe, South-Eastern Europe and the countries to the South. It has a five-year programme (2006-2010) entitled The Mediterranean, Europe, and Islam: Actors in Dialogue.
Kulturstiftung des Bundes, Germany
The Federal Cultural Foundation ("Kulturstiftung des Bundes") is a German institution, active throughout the country and abroad. It is primarily concerned with the challenges posed to art and culture in the 21st century.
The Foundation Roi Baudouin
Foundation of public utility that contributes to the improvement of peopleís life standards. Its programmes are dedicated to social justice, civil society, government, todayís resources and philanthropy. Focused especially on the relations with the South-Eastern countries and trans-Atlantic relations. Site in French - some chapters are also available in English.
