Allavida
Allavida is an international development organisation, that works to enable local action and the devlopment of skills, knowledge, confidence and resources necessary to lead local action and achieve constructive change in communities. Programmes run in South East Europe, East Africa, and Central Asia and encompass grantmaking, training and mentoring, research and publishing, support for associations and networks, and convening seminars.
Americans for the Arts
Organisation which works with cultural, arts, and business organizations, arts patrons, and government leaders, in order to “provide leadership, research, visibility, professional development, resources, and advocacy to advance support for the arts in communities across the country”. Its website provides information on arts research, advocacy, and publications.
Arts & Business - UK
Aims to help strengthen communities by developing creative and effective partnerships between business and the arts.
BalkanKult
Supports cooperation between culture and media practitioners, artists and firms, cultural institutions and foundations both within and beyond South East Europe; seeks to create new cultural models and strategies for the 21st century.
Budapest Observatory
The Observatory’ mission is to inform about the conditions (finances, legislation, governance, policies) of cultural life (cultural activities, products and organisations) in east-central European countries. As a resource organisation, the Observatory facilitates research, collects and provides information, establishes contacts in areas that include the financing of culture, cultural policy, legislation and statistics.
