15.12 Policies for Culture closes! Web-resources remain online!
The Policies for Culture Programme closes by the end of 2008 but its online platform remains with resources updated throughout the year. Although the programme's SEE action has already been completed in 2006 (but spread beyond SEE) a variety of publications and online resources have still been developed since .
 
18.10 PAC Multimedia, Skopje realises participative cultural policy planning in five Macedonian cities
Strongly building on the legacy of the programme in Macedonia, Policies for Culture long-term partner PAC Multimedia has realised 5 more participative policymaking processes in the municipalities of Resen, Debar, Probishtip, Negotino and Strumica.
 
18.07 Local Cultural Policy Development Guide available in 4 more Eastern European languages
The 'Guide to Citizen Participation in Local Cultural Policy Development for European Cities' produced by ECUMEST, ECF, Interarts & SEE TV in 2007 has recently been translated into 4 more languages in cooperation with local partners in Kiev (Democracy through Culture), Prishtina (OSI) and Skopje (PAC Multimedia). 05.06 Launch of ‘Invisible Cities’: Building Capacities for Local Cultural Policy Transformation in Turkey
Based on knowledge transfer from SEE and pilot action inspired by Policies for Culture since 2004 Anadolu Kültür, Istanbul Bilgi University, Boekman Foundation and European Cultural Foundation with the support of the Netherlands' MATRA Programme have initiated cultural policy development action in the cities of Kars, Canakkale and Antakya.
